US Energy Secretary Chris Wright has acknowledged that the United States does not have a specific plan to remove enriched uranium from Iran. Speaking to CBS News, Wright said in response to a question on the issue: “We do not know that. That’s what- that’s what’s still yet to be determined.” Removing enriched uranium from Iran had been one of Washington’s main demands for reaching a deal with Tehran over its nuclear programme.
