More Israeli strikes hit towns across southern Lebanon

Israel launched another series of attacks against towns in southern Lebanon in violation of their ceasefire agreement, according to Al Jazeera reporters on the ground.

The towns of Majdal Selem and Haris were hit with air strikes while Deir al-Zahrani and al-Nabitieh al-Fawqa were subjected to heavy artillery fire.

This comes in spite of US officials reporting a “positive” round of talks between Lebanon and Israel in Washington on Thursday.
