US official says first day of Lebanon-Israel talks ‘positive’

A senior US State Department official said they had a "full day of productive and positive talks” with Israel and Lebanon in Washington on Thursday. 

“We look forward to continuing this tomorrow and hope to have more to share then,” the official added.
