Iran arrests 20 accused of sending military locations to Israel

Authorities in northwestern Iran have arrested 20 people accused of attempting to cooperate with Israel, the Tasnim news agency reported, citing the prosecutor’s office in West Azerbaijan province.

The suspects are accused of sending details about Iranian military, law enforcement and security locations to Israel.

“Several networks of mercenaries associated with the hands of the Zionist regime... were hit, and 20 individuals were arrested and detained by issuing a judicial order,” the prosecutor’s statement said.
