Iran forms new body to manage Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Supreme National Security Council has announced the formation of a new authority to manage the Strait of Hormuz.

The security body shared a social media post for the Persian Gulf Strait Authority announcing it would provide “real‑time updates on the Hormuz Strait operations and latest developments”.
