Saudi Arabia says it intercepted drone in Eastern Province

Saudi Arabia says its air defences have intercepted and destroyed a drone over the country’s Eastern Province.

A spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defence confirmed the incident, saying security forces successfully brought down the unmanned aircraft before it could cause damage.
