Dubai airport operations suspended after fuel tank fire
All flights to and from Dubai were suspended following a fire near Dubai International Airport, according to Emirati authorities, who urged passengers not to travel to the airport.
Dubai Police said Airport Road and the Airport Tunnel were temporarily closed as emergency operations continued.
Earlier, the Dubai Media Office said civil defence teams had successfully contained the fire resulting from an impact on one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of the airport, following a “drone incident”.
