Air raid sirens sound in northern Israel over suspected drone intrusion

Air raid sirens were activated in northern Israel on Friday after the Israeli military reported the infiltration of a “hostile aircraft” into the area.

The military said aircraft were detected in the airspace over Kiryat Shmona and Rosh HaNikra, both near the border with southern Lebanon.

The alerts come amid continuing Israeli attacks along the Lebanon-Israel frontier.
