Iran says 25 ships passed through Strait of Hormuz in past 24 hours

Twenty-five ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz in the past 24 hours in coordination with Iranian authorities, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy said Saturday, Anadolu reports. The vessels included oil tankers, container ships, and other commercial ships that transited the strategic waterway “after obtaining permission with the coordination and security of the IRGC Navy,” the navy’s public relations department said in a statement carried by state-run broadcaster IRIB.
