Iran ambassador hopes ‘positive stride taking shape’ in Iran-US deal
Iranian ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam said in a post to X that he spoke to the Pakistani minister of interior, who offered congratulations on “the achievements of the negotiations” with the US mediated by Pakistan, stating his hopes that they will lead to “lasting peace in the region”.
“With conservative optimism, we can hope that, if the other side is adequately committed, a positive stride is taking shape”, the ambassador added, thanking the armed forces, Iranian people and the Pakistani mediator.
