Israeli military says soldier killed near Lebanon border

The Israeli army reported on Saturday that a soldier was killed near the border with Lebanon, bringing the number of Israeli troops killed since the conflict began to 22.

The military told AFP that he was killed on Friday during “operational activity in northern Israel”.
