Video: Palestinians mourn family killed by Israeli strikes in Deir el Balah
Israeli strikes in Gaza killed a man, his wife and their six-month-old baby on Saturday night, destroying four homes and displacing over 25 families.
The couple left behind six other young daughters and were killed while sleeping in their beds, according to family members who rescued them after the bombings.
Residents of the area, Deir el Balah, describe the neighbourhood as safe and with innocent people, claiming that the Israeli army just wants to "terrify citizens" and "destroy the entire neighbourhood."
Since a ceasefire was signed between Hamas and Israel in October, the Israeli army has killed over 900 Palestinians and has committed at least 2400 violations, according to the Gaza Media Office.
