Netanyahu says Israel targeted new Hamas military commander in Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel carried out an attack against Mohammed Odeh, who media reports say was appointed commander of Hamas’s military wing in Gaza in May.

“We will reach everyone,” Netanyahu said on Telegram, claiming Odeh was one of the architects of the 7 October 2023 Hamas-led attacks on southern Israel.

There was no immediate information about Odeh.
