IRGC says vessels from 'hostile countries' blocked from Hormuz strait

Iran's Revolutionary Guards have warned that vessels from countries "hostile" to Iran would be prohibited from passing through the Strait of Hormuz, in a message carried by Iranian media on Wednesday. 

This comes after Tasnim news agency reported an announcement from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that 25 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with its navy and after receiving Tehran's permission.
