Red Cross says conditions in southern Lebanon ‘untenable for civilians’
International Committee of the Red Cross official Agnes Dhur has warned that conditions in southern Lebanon have become “untenable for civilians”.
“Many people have lost their lives, while others are living in fear and uncertainty as homes, health facilities, water networks, and essential infrastructure in southern Lebanon are damaged or destroyed,” Dhur said.
“Families are left wondering whether they will ever return home, and if they do, what will remain for them.”
