Kuwait condemns Iranian attack on its territory

Kuwait’s foreign ministry has condemned an Iranian drone-and-missile attack as being a “dangerous escalation” of tensions in the region.

The ministry demanded that Iran immediately and unconditionally halt its attacks, which it called a violation of its sovereignty and security.

Iran has said that this attack was in retaliation for US-Israeli strikes on areas near the Hormuz port city of Bandar Abbas during ongoing peace negotiations.
