The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has called on international mediators and the global community to intervene urgently to curb the Israeli occupation crimes following a strike that killed nine Palestinian police officers in the central Gaza Strip. In a statement issued on Sunday evening, Hamas said an Israeli airstrike targeted a police vehicle, killing Colonel Iyad Abu Yousef, head of the Intervention Police in the Central Governorate, along with eight other officers and police personnel.
