Hezbollah launches attacks on invading Israeli army, Israeli strike kills three

The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah said that it has launched a series of attacks on advancing Israeli forces, according to reports from Lebanon’s National News Agency.

Hezbollah said that attacks hit army vehicles, a Merkava tank and a building housing “the secret command of the armed vehicles” in several areas where Israeli troops were stationed in southern Lebanon.

Meanwhile, a Lebanese medical rescue team found that three people were killed and five injured in an Israeli strike targeting an apartment in the Qiyaa area of Sidon earlier on Thursday.

The Israeli army has intensified its attacks on Lebanon in the last few days, ordering residents in much of the south of the country to flee, while its troops invade beyond the “buffer zone” further into Lebanese territory.
