EU sanctions 'extremist' Israeli settlers
The European Union Council announced on Thursday it will impose sanctions on four entities and three individuals for abuses against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
The list includes what the EU described as "extremist Israeli settlers and organisations that support them", according to a statement.
βThey are responsible for serious and systematic human rights abuses against Palestinians in the West Bank,β the Council added in a post to X.
In a separate statement, the Council also said it would expand sanctions to cover members of Hamasβ Political Bureau.
The EU has imposed further sanctions against extremist Israeli settlers and organisations that support them.
