US says its sanctioning entities, individuals linked to Iran's oil economy

The Department of State said it was sanctioning several  entities, individuals "involved in the transportation of Iranian petroleum or petrochemical products".

The department said that the move aims to "reduce revenue that the Iranian regime uses to attack its neighbors, support terrorism abroad, and oppress its own people".
