Iranian military headquarters warns of retaliation if Beirut’s southern suburbs are attacked

The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued a warning directed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that any large-scale Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut would trigger a response targeting northern Israel. According to the statement, Netanyahu’s regional policies and any evacuation orders issued for residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs would be met with measures that would “bring the battle” into northern Israeli cities and settlements. The statement also called on residents of northern Israel to leave the area.
