The body of a one-year-old girl was recovered from the rubble of a residential building in Tehran after it was hit by US and Israeli missiles on Tuesday, Mehr news reported.

Video posted on Telegram showed emergency workers searching through debris before retrieving the infant’s body.

Rescue teams continued digging through the wreckage as strikes hit multiple areas of the Iranian capital during the ongoing conflict.

Iranian authorities say several civilian areas have been damaged in the war, with large-scale US and Israeli attacks on Iranian military and infrastructure targets.
