Hundreds gathered Friday in Milan to commemorate Palestinian children killed in the Gaza Strip, carrying a symbolic shroud bearing thousands of names through the city center, according to Radio Popolare, Anadolu reports. The demonstration began in front of the Duomo di Milano, where participants unfurled a 27-meter (99-foot) long shroud displaying the names of 18,457 Palestinian children killed in Gaza between Oct. 7, 2023, and July 31, 2025. Before the shroud was unveiled, protesters stood in silence in the square. Palestinian flags and keffiyehs were visible throughout the gathering.
