Israeli forces continue to pummel southern Lebanon

Israeli attacks have continued across southern Lebanon overnight and into Sunday, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported.

The towns of al-Qatrani, Byblos and Rihan in the Jezzine district were struck overnight. In the Tyre district, Deir Kifa, Barashit and Chaqra were also targeted.

On Sunday, NNA reported that two people were wounded when an "anti-government" drone struck Shahabiyeh. Attacks were also reported on the town of Srifa in Tyre, and Dweir, near Nabatieh, north of the Litani River.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said its air defences intercepted two drones launched from Lebanon towards Israel after sirens were activated in Yiftah and Ramot Naftali.
