Iran will deliver 'painful response' to Israel for Beirut strikes

Iran "will deliver a decisive and painful response" to Israel's bombing of Beirut, an Iranian politician said on Sunday.

"These rabid dogs must be disciplined and put back in their place," Ebrahim Rezaei, a lawmaker and spokesperson for the foreign policy commission, posted on X.

"Look at the sky over the occupied lands tonight," he said. Rezaei was responding to Israeli strikes on Beirut's southern suburbs.
