A group of lawyers and international law experts has asked the International Criminal Court (ICC) to expand its ongoing investigation into the situation in Palestine to include allegations arising from Israel’s interception of the “Global Sumud Flotilla” in May. The request was submitted to the Office of the Prosecutor on 29th May as part of a broader legal filing seeking an investigation into the treatment of activists aboard the flotilla and the actions of Israeli officials involved in the operation.
