Vance says US in strong position in Iran negotiations

US Vice President JD Vance said the United States is in a strong position to achieve President Donald Trump’s objectives through negotiations with Iran, expressing optimism about the direction of the talks.

Speaking to Fox News, Vance said Iranian officials appeared interested in ending the conflict and were presenting serious proposals during discussions with Washington.

“The Iranians don’t want this war to continue. It’s not in their best interest, and I think they’re coming to the table, putting some real things on the table – we’re of course going to verify,” Vance said.

“If we get to this deal, it’s going to be a home-run win for the American people,” he added.
