Israel expands forcible displacement orders in southern Lebanon's Tyre

The Israeli military issued fresh forcible displacement orders on Tuesday for residents of several neighbourhoods in and around the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, signalling the possibility of imminent military action.

The warning, issued by the military’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, also covered nearby communities and Palestinian refugee camps.

In a post on X, Adraee said Israeli forces would act against what he described as "Hezbollah elements’ actions inside the Christian Quarter in the city".
