Iran's president says country will not 'surrender' to ceasefire violations
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the country would not give in to ceasefire violations, following US attacks.
"War is certainly not in the country's interest, but if they think that by violating our dignity, our territory and our homeland that we will surrender or back down, then let them only dream about it," he expressed during a speech.
Pezeshkian also referenced Gaza, saying that they were "not able to force... a small Strip to surrender after three years", adding that they will not be able to do the same to Tehran either.
βThey will not be able to force our Iran to surrender with their threats, and I will certainly not surrender.β
