Israeli strikes hit eastern Lebanon towns, killing civilians

Israeli forces struck multiple locations across Lebanon, including the eastern Bekaa Valley and central Beirut, according to local media reports.

Al Jazeera reported that air raids hit the towns of Sahmar and Yahmar in the Bekaa Valley, with Sahmar reportedly targeted twice within hours.

Additional strikes were reported overnight in Beirut and southern Lebanon.

Lebanese authorities said at least six people were killed in the capital and 11 in the south as the attacks widened across the country.
