A unit known as “Rada” within Gaza’s security forces said it had ambushed a group it claims was linked to Israeli forces in the south of Khan Younis, leaving several people dead and wounded. In a statement posted on Telegram, the unit said it carried out a field operation after monitoring and tracking the group from the moment they advanced from what it described as the “yellow line”. It added that the group took shelter inside a house, which was then hit with an anti-fortification projectile. The unit said its members also engaged the group at close range using medium weapons, resulting in casualties.
