US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said that “without Israel, the United States would not exist”, during his participation in a settlement conference held on Tuesday evening at Herodium National Park, about 6 kilometres southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. According to Maariv, the event was titled the “International Conference on Israeli Heritage and Archaeology in Judea and Samaria” — the biblical term used by Israel for the West Bank.
