The Israeli army detained 16 Palestinian women in military raids in the West Bank city of Qalqilya on Wednesday, local sources said. Most of the detained women “are wives of freed prisoners or detainees and mothers of killed Palestinians,” the sources told Anadolu. According to the sources, Israeli forces raided and searched several homes in the city of Qalqilya and the towns of Azzun, Kafr Thulth and Sanniriya during their campaign. Two women were later released after being questioned by Israeli forces, the sources said.
