Iran says ready to respond to any potential threats

Iran is ready to respond to any threats despite ongoing negotiations with the US, a senior official said Monday.

Ghadir Nezami, Iran’s deputy secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, made the comments during a visit to India to meet Chinese representatives.

"We look forward to China continuing to play an important role in supporting the effective implementation of the first-phase MOU between Iran and the United States. We highly appreciate China's active role on international and regional issues," he said.
