Trump congratulates Lebanese president on Israel framework deal

The report said Trump spoke with Aoun after the signing, as Washington pushes to advance talks between Lebanon and Israel.

The framework agreement comes amid US efforts to shape a wider political arrangement, even as Israel continues attacks on Lebanon and maintains troops inside Lebanese territory.
