The Gaza Strip witnessed renewed Israeli military aggression on Sunday as Palestinian health officials reported additional casualties and damage, more than eight months after the ceasefire agreement came into effect. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire began on October 11, 2025, has risen to 1,041 Palestinians, with 3,372 others injured. The ministry also reported that 786 bodies have been recovered during the same period. The ministry said three bodies and 43 wounded people were brought to hospitals across Gaza over the past 24 hours.
