US President Donald Trump said that Israel carried out an attack on Iran’s South Pars gas field without any involvement from the United States or Qatar. He stressed that Washington had no prior knowledge of the strike. In remarks reported by Reuters on Thursday, Trump added that “Qatar was in no way, shape, or form, involved in the attack.” He also warned that any future targeting of Qatari liquefied natural gas facilities would face a decisive response.
