Israeli drone strikes injure two people in southern Lebanon

Two consecutive Israeli drone strikes left two people injured in the Seddiqine area of the Tyre district in southern Lebanon overnight, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry has said that 4,298 people have been killed and 12,196 wounded in Israeli attacks across the country since 2 March.

An Israeli soldier was, meanwhile, “seriously injured” during an “encounter” in southern Lebanon on Thursday.

“The soldier was evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, and his family was notified,” the military posted on X.
