Funeral prayers held for Khamenei’s infant granddaughter killed in US-Israeli strike

Funeral prayers were also held for four members of Ali Khamenei’s family who were killed in the joint US-Israeli strike on 28 February, including his 14-month-old granddaughter, Zahra Mohammadi Golpayegani.

Footage published by Tasnim news agency showed the infant’s coffin placed beside Khamenei’s during the ceremony.

The agency reported that her father, Mohammad Javad Mohammadi Golpayegani, attended the prayers. Zahra’s mother, Boshra Khamenei, was also killed in the strike.
