Palestinian and Israeli human rights organizations say they have documented a growing number of incidents in which Israeli soldiers have stolen money, jewellery and other personal belongings during military raids on Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank. According to testimonies collected by rights groups, incidents reported during Israeli military searches increasingly involve not only arrests and property damage but also the disappearance of cash, gold jewellery and other valuables. The organizations say the number of such allegations has risen significantly since October 2023, while victims report that complaints have not resulted in the return of their property or disciplinary action.
