A senior Hamas delegation led by the movement’s chairman, Mohammad Darwish, attended the funeral ceremonies for Iran’s late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Tehran and held meetings with senior Iranian officials to discuss developments in Gaza and bilateral relations. According to a statement issued by Hamas, the delegation met with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and several other Iranian officials on the sidelines of the funeral.
