An Israeli flag was seen flying early Tuesday morning on Ali al-Taher Hill, a highly strategic vantage point that overlooks the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, Anadolu reports. Aside from the presence of the flag, news agencies documented no active military maneuvers, Israeli soldiers, or combat vehicles in the immediate vicinity of the hillside. Situated north of the Litani River, Ali al-Taher Hill is considered one of the most important tactical positions in the border region due to its commanding elevation. The peak holds high military significance because it provides a wide-angle, unobstructed view of Nabatieh, its surrounding towns, and key regional transportation routes.
