Sirens sound in Bahrain, Kuwait
Air sirens were activated in Bahrain, the country's interior ministry said.
"Citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place," the ministry said on X.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti army indicated that it was responding to "hostile missile and drone attacks".
It added that the General Staff of the Army noted "that any explosions heard are a result of air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks".
