Kuwait said on Wednesday that its air defences had intercepted hostile missiles and drones, while Bahrain sounded an air raid siren and urged residents to seek shelter. The Kuwaiti military said in a statement on X that its air defence systems were “currently confronting intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks”. It added that “if explosion sounds are heard, they are the result of air defence systems intercepting the hostile attacks.” The military urged the public to follow safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities. Bahrain’s Interior Ministry also announced that an air raid siren had been activated.
