Local official confirms strikes targeted naval site in Iran's Korarak

Jets targeted the naval military zone in the southern Iranian city of Konarak after two explosions were heard in the area, according to governor Mohammad Younes Haqqani, IRNA news agency reported on Thursday.

Haqqani said that the naval area “was targeted by enemy fighter jets in two stages”, adding that rescue and security agencies were immediately deployed to the scene and an investigation into the attack is underway.
