Saudi Crown Prince and Trump discuss US-Iran talks, maritime security

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US President Donald Trump discussed bilateral relations and regional stability during a phone call, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The leaders also discussed ongoing regional developments, particularly the talks between the United States and Iran, according to SPA.

Both stressed the importance of ensuring the security of maritime navigation and sea lanes, while reaffirming their support for initiatives aimed at promoting security and stability across the Middle East, the agency said.

"During the call, they reviewed cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America and ways to enhance them in several fields," SPA reported.
