Official: Iran suffered $300 million in damage to research infrastructure

Iran’s vice president for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Hossein Afshin said knowledge-based companies also suffered heavy losses, Iranian media reported.

Afshin said knowledge-based firms incurred losses of 65 million rials and $25 million in foreign exchange during the "imposed war", IRNA reported.

"The enemy had targeted Iran's scientific and technological authority, which will be rebuilt with power," Afshin said.
