Israeli troops push into Syrian village and briefly establish checkpoint
Israeli forces briefly carried out an incursion into the Syrian village of al-Samdaniyah in Quneitra, Syrian state media has reported.
Sana news agency reported that three Israeli army vehicles pushed into al-Samdaniyah on Saturday morning and established a temporary checkpoint.
Israeli troops searched passersby at the checkpoint, before later withdrawing.
Two days ago, Israeli troops carried out a similar action, when over 15 army vehicles entered al-Asha village in Quneitraβs southern countryside. They searched a house and a warehouse, before withdrawing.
