Iran claims strikes on US bases in Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Corp Guards (IRGC) say US military bases in Jordan and Bahrain were targeted, indicating that retaliatory operations against Washington are ongoing.

According to the IRGC statement, the attack on Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan set fire to several fuel depots and ammunition storage facilities.

The IRGC also claimed strikes on several other targets, including a US military drone command centre in Bahrain and the Ali Al Salem air base in Kuwait.

Iran's Nour News Agency, citing an Iranian military official, reported that the launch of the "large-scale missile and drone attacks" on "enemy bases in the region" was in response to continuing US hits on Iran.
