Bahrain says air defences destroyed Iranian attacks

Bahrain’s military said its air defence systems intercepted several Iranian missile and drone attacks on Monday morning and accused Tehran of targeting civilians and private property.

In a statement, the army said all military units have been placed on high alert and are at “advanced combat readiness” to defend their country.
